The Health Department is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and on Thursdays from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

The Register of Deeds Office maintains vital statistics for Onslow County. All birth, death, marriage, military discharges, and real estate-records are located in our office only for the County of Onslow. We process requests for certified copies of vital records as well as land records.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Recording and Marriage License: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Onslow County Animal Control provides for the humane sheltering, care, adoption, and redemption of stray and surrendered animals. Animal Control Officers are responsible for the enforcement of state and local laws and ordinaces related to animal control. We also provide education to increase awareness related to rabies, animal control laws, and responsible pet ownership. In addition, we strive to eliminate the pet overpopulation problem through mandatory spay and neutering of all adopted animals.
